Several very fine early music instrumental ensembles exist today. One of the
very best of these ensembles is the Freiburger Barockorchester and Consort.

I have been informed by the FBO that new recordings will soon become
available via the CARUS-VERLAG label.

Their first release will be:

Telemann
Quintetti d'archi e Partite per due liuti
Freiburger Barockorchester Consort
Carus 83.300

The orchestra will follow this release with a recording of violin concerti,
concerti grossi etc., by the talented Dresden composer, Johann Georg
Pisendel (1678-1755).

According to FBO, in a few weeks, you will be able to order CDs via their

   homepage: http://barockorchester.de/

Additional FBO information can be found at:

Exciting recording news for 1999!
