Bjorn Kurten (not Kurtin) is one of the world's leading authorities on
Pleistocene mammals and the author of many scientific books and papers,
several popular works about evoloution, palaeontology, palaeoanthropology
and archaeology, and two novels, including "Dance of the Tiger" and
"Singletusk".
