Does anyone on the list know about superstitions concerning blue beads,
evil spirits, and corners of houses? We have found four wire-wrapped blue
beads in association with what we believe to have been the four corners of
a house. I know that blue is supposed to have magical powers in certain
cultures, and that right-angled corners are supposed to harbor evil
spirits, but I am particularly interested in knowing if there is any
tradtion of charms in the corners of a house.
