Subject: Archaeological Videos (32 lines)

Astarte Resources, a newly formed company out of Sydney, Australia is
offering four archaeological videos and accompanying material for
classroom
use. These videos are produced with the 11+ and 16+ age groups in mind.
I
have viewed the first and the fourth in the series and read the
accompanying
workbooks and booklets and, to my mind, they are wonderfully and very
professionally produced and could be of value to many middle school
and/or
high school teachers and to teachers who deal with freshman and
sophomore
students at the college level. They are currently being sold in
Australia,
New Zealand and the U.K. and have recently become available to the
American
market.
   Here is the list-

1) From Knossos to Athens (25 min., worksheets included, ages 11+)
    Cost- approx. $56US plus S&H

2) This is Archaeology! (25 min., worksheets included, ages 11+)
