There is a ref. in the lit. which I think I saw noted in Lawrence's book of
a case report of a woman with black colostrum as a result of use of
minocycline -- a tetrocycline drug. However, Susan Love's book, and other
medical references (see archives) discuss multi-colored breast discharge as
normal -- and often associated with menopause. The dangerous kinds of
breast discharge are spontaneous (not expressed), unilateral, and bloody or
serous. If cytology was done (a prudent measure in my opinion) and there
was nothing suspicious there, just keeping in contact with the doctor and
using comfort measures (cabbage?) to deal with swelling should help.
