In case my first attempt went astray the Rufford brick comes from the
Midlands Stourbridge/Staffordshire region dates of operation are all
covered in Gurke, K.  1987.  Bricks .... Idaho Univ Press.
As for bloomery equipment - a good place to start would be the J. of
the Historical Metallurgy Society, but even Percy 1864 has some info
on bloomeries.
