> Seeley espouses the following principles
I don't know if you have read my articles but I am thoroughly familiar with beekeeping as it was practiced in ancient Europe, Poland, Russia, etc. The list provided fits right in to that period, when people left bees in the trees and occasionally robbed them of honey. There is no empirical proof of how well they survive under those circumstances. That is the worst form of black box beekeeping imaginable.
In contrast, you have best management practices espoused by BIP, Randy Oliver, myself, among others. Almost everything is the exact opposite of the list that was provided. The so-called natural beekeeping utterly precludes anything resembling an apiary, and apiary management. It precludes moving bees to better pasture, or taking them to winter quarters. And is not backed up by anything but prayers and mumbo jumbo.
