It can and does happen that webpages and links hide malware and virii.
I suggest that everyone have a basic anti-virus program on their
computer, and also install these two free programs:

Super Anti-Spyware
Malwarebytes Anti-Malware

These two programs will stop your computer from downloading infected
websites, and get rid of any crap afterwards.
