Hello Kathy,

We did an oobleck run last year with a trough that was 1 foot deep and 8
feet in diameter. The distance across was about right for the folks who
moved quickly. For those who hesitated, the large diameter meant that
our rescue crew had to step in quickly or risk losing people. Don't do
more than 1foot deep. Don't.

The math yields ~50 cubic feet, or a bit less than 2 cubic yards, which
we achieved with 2000lbs--40 bags--of cornstarch.
