Thanks, George ...

Given the vagaries of those price list/size comparisons, is it even 
reasonable to apply categories like muffins, twifflers, and plates to 
archaeological specimens,  or would it be far more judicious to 
simply size grade by diameter, and infer function? Obviously, big 
plates that are not platters are plates, but how about those smaller 
diameter pieces?
