This article today makes a great case for the type of Citizen Science  
Walter Staveloz was encouraging in his email the other day. It also  
fits nicely with ASTC's new Strategic Initiatives and one of the  
themes for the upcoming conference: "determine how science centers can  
become valuable and essential partners in addressing key local,
