Hi Anna,

You might get in touch with participants from the ASTC conference in LA.
There was a session on Sunday about storytelling for IPY. I don't know who
ran it - but you could check your program...

I've already seen some "11th hour" pushes for 2008 ASTC proposals
this week, so this would be an 11:45 push....

Is anyone interested in collaborating on a session on storytelling as
a tool for informal science educators? As part of our Astronomy from
the Ground Up program (www.astrosociety.org/afgu), we are going to be
running some workshops for informal educators who want to incorporate
oral storytelling into their astronomy teaching. I can send you more
info on request.

Because our program is still in the planning stages (we'll get
started in January), I'm not yet quite sure what spin we'll give to
the ASTC session, but I thought I'd see what interest is out there
and plan it from there. Since the proposals are due on Friday, a
quick response is important. I will take on writing the proposal and
making sure it is submitted in time. Apologies for the short notice.

I hope to hear from some of you soon!

thanks,
Anna
