Genetic engineering is considered to be the "magic bullet" in regard to 
curing disease.  But I view genetic engineering as reductionist thinking and in all 
liklihood useless in creating cures for various diseases.  Life, health is 
based on a synergism of actions/components and cannot be reduced to one simple 
cure or equation.

You wrote that "farmers whose crops have been contaminated by the pollen of 
the monsanto plants should sue."  Surprisinly enough, it is Monsanto who is 
taking farmers to court for patent infringement of their Round Up Ready Canola.

While genetic engineering in the agricultural industry is affecting the 
entire ecosystem, I believe that many people are not thinking about the 
repercussions of genetic engineering through cell or yeast culture.  What is done with 
the lab mistakes or what happens to this "stuff" during natural disasters 
(hurricanes, tornadoes).  What happens to the ecosystem when animals and people 
ingest this stuff and it becomes part of our waste water system.  Do we know how 
to effectively treat/neutralize these organisms once they are in our waterways 
or soil?  Will they recombine and create more virulent organisms?  It is 
similiar to nuclear energy in which our good scientists have not thought out the 
housekeeping part of the technology.  What do you do with the waste products?  
Where do you put it safely so that it doesn't damage the ecosystem?  

Breastmilk cannot prevent all human suffering.  Although there is a 
patent...a patent that uses a human milk component to alleviate pain.  I believe it is 
an Agennix patent.  So in my estimation, it is very likely that it will be a 
marketed product.

You wrote, "Unfortunately, most of the research industry is driven by money." 
 And why is this acceptable to everyone?  At some point no one will believe 
what researchers write or say.   If everyone accepts this state of affairs, 
then what we get is more disease and ill health. And we certainly will see 
breastfeeding become an aberrant behavior rather than the norm.
