Good evening all. I saw Nikki's post with her case study, and presenting
facts, and then opening it up for Lactnetters to respond to the mom
directly. Lactnet is not really for this purpose, and although we can
discuss case studies, offer our professional ideas and judgements to
each other, it is not adviseable to take on "cases," from this list,
over the internet. We should funnel our ideas to the caregiver who asks
us, but not directly intervene, .. this deprives the mother of the help
she needs in a handson, and up front and personal way... the very best
kind of help.
Let's help each other help mothers, and let's use Lactnet to further our
own professional knowledge, but please do not post cases on Lactnet and
ask for direct interventions here. It serves no one well.
