Just thought I'd update the whole "CONNECTICUTENSIS" button thing - Vic
Metta, Jim Legg and Silas Hurry all helped i.d. the button as from a colored
infantry regiment from New Haven, Connecticut, the 29th Regiment,
Connecticut Infantry (Colored), which was posted in the Beaufort region from
April to August, 1864. Much appreciation to those folks for their
assistance.
