Given all of his superb cantatas, the Motets, St. Matthew Passion, and Mass
in B minor, I'd have to give the nod to Mr. Bach for Baroque composers.
Concerning Handel, I think he generally does better with the arias than
choral contributions, which is why I don't consider Israel in Egypt one
of his most inspired works.
