Ah, Whitman, my favorite poet.  If you want to gorge yourself pick up "To
The Soul" where Thomas Hampson sings works inspired by the poet.  Composers
include: Ned Rorem, Frank Bridge, Charles Villars Stanford, Vaughan
Williams, Hindemith, Ives, Weill, Bernstein, etc.  Or read my review at:
