When I initially read the above sentence, I woundered where in the world
our fellow list member came up with this number. But, maybe he's on to
something. Last night, my wife noticed I was carrying a bunch of Cds (my
WTC survey items) from my computer room to the music room. She said I must
have around *2,000* CDs in the house. I asked her if she had been talking
to anyone from the San Francisco area, but that of course drew a blank from
her. I then confirmed that she was probably right on target about the
2,000 number. She looked quite pleased with herself for a person who has
no idea how many CDs I've bought over the years.

My wife has this habit of estimating the number of CDs in a typical drawer
and multiplying by the number of drawers she *thinks* are devoted to CD
storage. So, from her perspective, there are 23 drawers with about 70 CDs
in each plus an overflow in two closets. Her math has always been suspect,
but she's going to catch on to my tricky ways - it's just a matter of time.
When that happens, I'll just flash her one of my sensual smiles guaranteed
to warm up her mood and everything will be fine. Anyways, that's how it
happened in a dream I had, and we all know that dreams come true.
