Karlis and other listfriends,

Every time I write to NPR or PBS via email I first get an auto-responder
message with lots of stuff I wasn't interested in (maybe sometimes stuff I
do find of interest) but then maybe a few days later, usually not too long,
I hear from a "real" person who is important in the production of the show
I'm commenting about.  I've even ended up with some brief correspondences,
though normally with people whose work I've praised.  Unless AR decides to
ignore us all, I'd say, sit tight and we'll hear something from them at
some point.
