The rapidly approaching deadline for submissions to The Bead Forum is 15 August
1999. The Bead Forum is the bi-annual newsletter of the Society for Bead
Researchers.  I am looking for current research notes, short articles of up to
 five
pages in length (b&w illustrations are encouraged), requests for info, info on
 bead
exhibitions, book announcements, references to recent pubs on beads.  Both
historical and prehistorical material is appropriate. The society web site is:
