We've had good luck with FUSION spray paint too. Used it to create
footprints on a dance floor to teach kids Celtic dance steps and never had
to repaint in 6 months. The flooring material was synthetic smooth wood
planking.

Try Krylon FUSION spray paint for plastics. It is available at Dick
Blick, Home Depot, etc.

I've used it on all types of PVC and it passes the "scratch test."

Also paint pens on Sintra bond with the top surface of the material
and seem to hold up pretty well to "overenthusiastic" visitors.

Good Luck!
