Seth; We have one exhibit that contains a video proj, as well as 3 that
are used for facility rentals and classes. One thing you need to keep in
mind is the life expectancy of the bulbs. The projectors are relatively
cheap, granted, but make sure you look at the rated hours. In our
particular exhibit, the projector runs about 55 hrs a week. and the
bulbs seem to last about a year. At $400+ per bulb, it defiantly should
be figured in to the operating cost of the exhibit (as well as keeping a
spare on hand). Ours is basically a motion detector but a button would
work too. A looped video works well if the content basically makes sense
when you walk in in the middle of it. If you are not running it all the
time, make sure you add a screen saver/welcome screen so you don't burn
an image into the projector, and many models will shut down if they
don't have video input.

Have fun,
Elton
