Hi,

The touchscreen thread reminded me that I'd like to poll the troops on
projectors for video. Ours would be used in an exhibit setting so it will be
turned on most of the day. What are your experiences with these and do you
have any that you like/hate? Reliability is key. Price is a factor but
mostly it needs to work well for months on end. Quality of image is also
important. (We're going to project the picture to about 4' x 5'.)

A related question has to do with cycling the program. We could have it on a
loop (about 3 minutes) but does anyone have a favorite method for activating
a video for a group? Motion sensor? Push-button at the theater entrance? I
suppose that the projector needs to be running regardless, so perhaps this
would be a wasted effort and a looping show is the way to go. I'd be
interested in opinions and experiences.

Thanks,
Seth!
