This article is about where the government spends money mandated to provide
kids at failing schools with tutors. It starts with a description of a sort
of mom + pop self-run business by two people who started their own tutoring
company. But also notes that some larger companies that provide "testing
services" are like the Halliburtons of education. One got a $60 million
contract from Texas alone this year. Interesting stuff.
