I've been gone and trying to catch-up - Yikes!

The SIDS research mentioned from New Zealand was done by Ed Mitchell. After
reanalysing their data, they found the risk associated with parents and baby
sleeping together was tied to the Mauri population, where alcohol and smoking
were also very high. As far as I remember, they withdrew the blanket
statement that there was risk associated with co-sleeping. I haven't checked
the literature, but I thought something was published.
