Permission to post: at a recent LLL mtg., a mom with a 2 wk old baby and damaged nipples showed me how her baby sometimes sleeps - with his mouth open, tongue tip up on the roof of his mouth.

Has anyone seen this before? Significant? I'm suspecting a posterior tongue tie but it isn't glaringly obvious.

Tried to check the archives, but couldn't find anything on "baby with tongue on roof of mouth". :)

Thanks in advance for your help!

Warmly,
Jeanette
