Marie-Josee asked about an exclusively bfg baby with a severe allergic
reaction after mother ingested peanut butter. I have not seen a reaction
this severe, but one of the pediatricians I freq. work with told me a story
of doing allergy testing on a 7 month old baby who reacted very dramatically
to peanut butter. The child had never had any by mouth, and the speculation
was that sensitization had been through mom's milk. The pedi feels allergies
to peanut butter are often dramatic.
