Hi there:) I am studying for the IBCLC exam and came across some questions that I have not been able to find the answers to, I was wondering if any of you could share any info you may have.

1.If breastmilk is 99% bioavailable to babies, how much of the nutrients in formula do bottle fed babies absorb?

2. how common is it for a newborn to be allergic to moms own milk and is this an overdiagnosis when the docs cant figure out what is going on with baby?

3.what is the definition of exclusive breastfeeding? is it only breastmilk (wheather from breast or bottle )and no formula. or is it only being at the breast, no bottles even if they contain ebm?

thanks:) andrea
