HI Katherine,
I'm a little concerned at what this gastroenterologist is saying.  Reflux
will happen when the stomach is over filled, which is very common in bottle
feed babies and women with over production and strong let-downs.  Some reflux
is also caused by allergies but before having a mom on an elimination diet,
the cause needs to be sorted out first.
