I need some more ideas to help the mother of 5 1/2 month old twins. The
mom has recently gone back to work. For the past two weeks she has been
using a double electric pump marketed to working women. Before that she
used one of the better hand pumps. On pumping the crack on the nipple
opens and bleeds. There was no bleeding afterwards when the baby was put
to the breast.
1- mom has vaginal yeast infection
2- babies have assigned side
3- the baby assigned to the affected breast has a "mild" thrush infection

I really can't tell if the bleeding and crack is from the pump or is a
complication of thrush.

What would be the best way to help in figuring out what the cause is?
Ideas for remediation?

TIA

Sarah
