Thanks, Alison, for taking time to respond to some of my questions about
frenulum issues. I guess someone is going to have to design some sort of
longitudinal study comparing clipped and un-clipped controls to see how they
do with early feeding, speech, and whether/when they ultimately get clipped.
If someone with a background in designing such studies wants to do so, I can
certainly share data -- even slides.
Netters who are going to the Wolf and Glass conf. might want to ask them for
an opinion. I'm working with Kay James, a speech path.from Houston who works
with bfg babies (a rare find!) on an up-coming presentation, and I'm hoping
to get her to speak to this issue.
