Hi All,

Question from a mom I can't answer. She has a small bit of psoriasis. She
was treating with a very strong steroid ointment prior to pregnancy and is
back to using it after delivery. She only uses it once a week to keep the
psoriasis under control. Baby is now developing patches of psoriasis on his
ear and elbow. He is 16 mo. old. She knows he has a dairy allergy and he
ingests NO dairy of any kind from her or in his solid meals. Mom is very
educated on this. She wants to know 2 things: 1) Besides using a steroid
cream on baby what other options does she have for treating him topically
and 2) could this be an allergy response result for the both of them? If
that could be the case - how would she go about eliminating foods to check?

While I know a lot about dairy allergies, other allergy issues are not my
specialty. I will admit to a bit of personal curiosity here as I also have
a bit of psoriasis and would like to get rid of it completely.

Thank you!
