Small amounts secreted into breastmilk. Reports thus far suggest that
levels absorbed by the infant are too low to produce side effects in the
infant. No changes have been seen in infant thyroid or reported. PTU is
the best antithyroid medication for lactating mothers.Monitor infant
thyroid function carefully. AHL( Adult elimination Half life) 1-2 hours.
