Regarding the recent discussion of nipple shield use: There is a good

There are several good pictures and explanations for the Mom and also staff
who may be taking care of the mom and are not familiar with shields. I
work at a small community hospital that had just a few over 1000 births
last year. At my facility, staff nurses are not allowed to give out
shields and do not have access to them. Moms must be evaluated by the
IBCLC and she initiates the shield use.
