Sorry it has been a long while since I posted. However, I am not
finding any resources about nursing with HPV (the disease that causes genital
warts). I am not concerned about it as long as the mother has descent
hygiene habits, but I have a pregnant mom that I would like to provide
current information to (preferably an article?), and I would love to hear
what my expert "colleagues" have to say. I checked the archives, and there
have only been two posts on this subject since 1990. Incidentally, there is
nothing about it in Breastfeeding and Human Lactation or the Breastfeeding
Answer Book. Also, I have asked the mom what medication she uses when she
has a flare up, and I am awaiting her reply. -- Debbie Albert, Ph.D., IBCLC
