Someone referred to the long-ago Cotterman technique

Wasn't this a device similar to "the nipple puller" beloved of the Japanese?

This latest sounds like a technique to evaluate carefully. Can't see that
it would work on a truly madly deeply engorged breast, so tight nothing
moves, pitting, but maybe engorgement way short of that? I'll wait to hear
from others and hope mastitis is monitered as an outcome..MM
