Not a lot known about this one.  However, it is not the only antidepressant
on the market.  What about sertraline, paroxetine.  If it has to be
venlafaxine, what about observing baby, doing milk and/or baby blood levels?
There are no known effects with this drug in the nursing infant, but there
could be, true.  There *are* known effects to not breastfeeding (including
negative effects on the baby's brain, which is the concern with the use of
these types of drugs).
