Susan,

This was on the Dayton Daily News obituary page 11/29 in the column
"Deaths Elsewhere":

"Ashley Montagu, an anthropologist known for combining rigorous
scientific research with witty, accessible writing, died at home Friday
after a long illness. He was 94.

Montagu wrote more than 60 books, ranging from an accounct of the life of
Joseph Merrick, known as "The Elephant Man", to lighter works such as a
book on the history of swearing."

That's all they wrote. I got so much more from your post. Reading
"Touching" gave me a set of powerful insights I have been using for years
extolling the virtue of touching, especially for "displaced siblings"
when a new baby arrives.

K. Jean Cotterman RNC, IBCLC
