The Ross rep gave me a sample pump. I couldn't wait to give it to my
co-leader (with a 2 mo. old) for an evaluation. She found it worked OK.
It has a short pull. A forceful pull would probably damage br tissue.
However this is an experienced breastfeeder, baby is 3rd, who knows how to
pump and express. (She's worked on and off as a nurse when her boys were
little.) That's the only "real" experience with the Ross pump that I have
heard so far. You'll all love what the rep told me when I expressed (grin)
doubts about how it would function..."well, it's free. Can't beat that!"
Sincerely, Pat in SNJ
