My listmother post happened to appear in the same digest as Anisa's post, and
just illustrates the old adage about the exception that proves the rule.  Anisa
managed to write about her personal situation while keeping her perspective one
based on the principles in the discussion.  I think it is a perfect example of
how the statistics on group outcomes and all the factual knowledge we have on
populations are unable to give us the tailor-made solutions that are
appropriate for the individual cases.  You still have to weigh, consider, and
choose, and what is right in one case is not right in every case.  Lucky are
those people whose practitioners understand this.
We'll be looking forward to a birth announcement, Anisa!
