As long as mom is diagnosed before labor, they will have platelets on 
hand to give her if she needs them. I've not had this disorder be an 
issue unless it is diagnosed after mom has a big postpartum bleed, and 
then we have anemia to contend with, or pituitary shock. (I've never 
seen a case of Sheehan's syndrome, but have seen some pituitaries that 
took a month or more to recover from blood loss).

Don't forget about hand expression. Adding that to pumping makes a huge 
difference in milk production. And all mom needs is her hand and a 
teaspoon or medicine cup.
