You do not mention the name of the medication, I think, unless my eyes
have disconnected.  However, the mother does *not* have to stop for
most ulcer medication.  Famotidine (available without prescription)
Hale says is fine.  From his information, I would say omperazole is
fine too.  Ranitidine is fine.  Antacids are fine.

The mother should take her medication and continue breastfeeding, or
if it is not one of the drugs above, get it changed to one of the
above.
