Joy,

I had a doula client who has MS and insulin-dependent diabetes both. Her MS
symptoms increased during her pregnancy. She had a wonderful natural
childbirth and went on to breastfeed without any problems. Her MS symptoms
virtually disappeared the entire first year of her baby's life. As far as I
know she is still fine and still breastfeeding. Her doctors had warned her
about the need to take certain drugs which would necessitate weaning. She
never had to take them.
Best to your client,

Janaki Costello, IBCLC, ICCE, C.D.
El Cerrito, CA.
