There has been some confusion about the pictures I offered to send on
request, (please see the archives for how to do so).

I do not have a picture of the teacup hold.  I have never seen the teacup
hold and know of it only from the recent discussion on Lactnet.
My picture of the post-partum pinch is a picture to show How NOT to Present
the Breast for Latching.  Would you really think I would recommend something
called a pinch, to be used on a live breast?  Ouch!
My concern is that someone reading the description of the teacup hold, might
end up doing the pp pinch, and that would be a shame.  It is widespread
enough already, as some of you have reported on seeing my pictures.
The other picture I have, is of the C-hold, as described in Bestfeeding by
Renfrew and Fisher.  I love that book and I have no financial interest in
it.
The sandwich hold is another variant, and I don't have a picture that shows
that.  I may have to phone my friend with the model breasts and try to take
one, but it won't be this week!
Hope this helps clarify for those of you who are confused.
