Lactnetters,

I am working with a mother who continues, despite all efforts, to suffer from
plugged ducts. In the last 3 months, she has had 10 (at least), many of them
in the same spot. Only one bout with mastitis, but a couple of 'near
misses'. We've tried it all---lecithin, positioning, compression/expression,
no underwires. . .and the rest of the traditional suggestions found in
Riordan & Auerbach, Lawrence, Breastfeeding Answer Book, and the archives.
She has no symptoms of yeast infection.

We've tried it I'm running out of things to try. Anybody have any ideas?
Thanks, Barbara Ash, MA, IBCLC
