I see a raft of rejections today.
Those of you with the various Apple-associated email accounts, and me.com, TDS.net, and WN.com.au, might want to consider finding unfiltered providers if you don't want some 'bot deciding what you can and cannot read.
If they are rejecting innocuous BEE-L messages like those that are copied below due to "local policy', without informing you, what personal messages are they discarding?
Example rejection:
>Message rejected due to
> local policy. Please visit
> https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204137
Too many such rejections and our friendly LISTSERV 'bot might automatically unsubscribe you.
However, you can always read what was censored online on our home server via https://www.bee-l.org.
FYI, the only two BEE-L messages yesterday were as follows, and I assume it was one of the two.

The ramifications of the “city-as-hive” are underscored by philosopher Susanne Langer, who reminds her readers of significant disanalogies between cities and hives:
“Its citizens are the whole and only individuals. They are not a “living mass,” like a swarm of semi-individuated bees. The model of the hive has brought with it the concept of human masses, to be cared for in times of peace, deployed in times of war, educated for use or sacrificed for the higher good of their state. In the specious analogy of animal and human society, the hive and the city, lies, I think, the basic philosophical fallacy of all totalitarian theory, even the most sincere and idealistic—even the thoroughly noble political thought of Plato”

I don't know which triggered the rejections or if it was one from the night before. Maybe someone will check what was received vs. what is on the BEE-L site.
