this is exaclty what the official sids commission in the Netherlands did.
based on an increase of the SIDS numbers with co-sleeping, co-sleepignnwas
condemned.

In a parent magazine a while ago one of the members of the SIDs commission
was interviewed and she showed a strong vision on child rearing that was
about crying it out, separate sleeping, and 'setting boundaries'.
Co-sleeping was portrayed as 'lazy parenting'.

since the SIDS commission did very good things in the past, reducing the
SIDs rate very strong, Their advices are seen as the ultimate truth.
