Bravo to Dr. Hale. Having been in the field of lactation for 21 years, I
can tell you his book is wonderful. For so many years, this type of
detailed information was not available and mothers gave up breastfeeding
due to incorrect information given. I used to tell my co-workers if
someone would just come up with a book such as this, it would make my
job much easier. I too get calls from Dr. offices for drug information.
I buy a new book each year and recycle the past years book to
pediatricians & OB's. I also suggest to them to order a new version in
2-3 years to keep updated. I feel that they will get hooked on the book
and want new ones like we do. Anyone who counsels on breastfeeding
should have this book. Thank you Dr. Hale for a job well done.
