Hugo, you might look in the catalog of the Brushy Mountain Bee Company
for drawings and descriptions of a couple of different sorts of swarn
traps.
 
Basically, they are simply containers of some kind having a volume about
that of a standard brood box, with an entry hole.  You hang them in or on
a tree, usually.  Some say they work better with a pheromone lure inside.
