No skepticism, so long as you've run marked queens to confirm that no
swarming has taken place : )

We are able to minimize swarming, by splitting all of our hives 4 ways each
spring, mating out fresh queens, and then providing a full 10-frame box of
drawn comb to each nuc.  But even that doesn't give us the 100% success
that you experience : )
